This Privacy Policy applies to the OffChat mobile application ("App") created by Holaworld. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it through our compliance with this policy. This App is designed for offline, peer-to-peer communication and prioritizes your data privacy by keeping operations strictly local.

1. Information We Collect and How We Use It

OffChat is designed to function without relying on centralized internet servers. Because of its offline nature, we do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data to any external servers or third-party databases.

To enable the App's core functionality (offline peer-to-peer communication), the App requires the following permissions on your device. All data accessed via these permissions remains on your device or is transmitted securely peer-to-peer:

• Location Data (Coarse and Fine Location): The App requires access to your device's location solely for the purpose of discovering and connecting to nearby devices via Wi-Fi Direct. This is an Android operating system requirement for scanning nearby and Wi-Fi signals. Your location data is never tracked, stored, or sent to us or any third parties.
• Install Location:We may request access to your device's location (Install Location) to understand our user distribution across the world. Providing this information is entirely your choice, and you can grant or deny this permission at any time.
• Wi-Fi: The App uses Wi-Fi Direct (Nearby Devices) to establish local mesh networks and communicate with other users nearby.
• Local Storage: Your user profile, messages, and chat history are stored entirely locally on your device in a secure database. We have no access to this data.

2. Third-Party Services

The App operates completely offline and does not integrate with any third-party analytics services (such as Google Analytics or Crashlytics) or advertising networks (such as AdMob). Your usage data is not tracked or shared for marketing or analytical purposes.

3. Data Security and Transmission

All communications facilitated by the App occur directly between devices over local networks (Wi-Fi mesh) without traversing the internet. While data is transmitted locally, it is the user's responsibility to ensure they are connecting to trusted peers.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

Because all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control over it. You can delete your chat history, profile, or all App data at any time by clearing the App's storage within your Android device settings or uninstalling the App.

5. Children's Privacy

Our App does not intentionally or knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. Since the App does not collect personal data externally, there is no risk of such data being transmitted to us.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and, if applicable, updating the "Effective Date" at the top. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
